Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

WE'RE CURRENTLY SEEING ALL OF OUR PATIENTS USING A SECURE VIRTUAL VIDEO CONNECTION.

In view of the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we would like to assure our patients that we are taking all recommended precautions to have a safe environment. In order to protect our patients and our staff, we will be doing all of our visits using a virtual video system for the foreseeable future.

We've found a simple way to see our patients using a HIPAA compliant secure video connection. On the day of your appointment, one of our medical assistants will contact you prior to your visit to verify the answers to your previsit questions, similiar to how we've done in the past. We'll then send you a link via text and/or email where you can enter our virtual waiting room. You'll be greeted by your clinician in this waiting room, where your visit will proceed as normal. We have been successfully using this system for several years for our remote patients around the state, and now we will use it for all our patient visits, new and return, until the epidemic is under control.

NEW PATIENTS: We're still accepting and seeing new patients using this easy, yet secure virtual visit system. You'll be contacted and worked up by our Registered Nurse, prior to being seen by Dr. Messina, who will then be able to evaluate you and discuss your health concerns over the secure video connection, the same as he would if you were in our office.

All you need is a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer with a web camera and microphone and a high speed internet connection. We'll take care of the rest to ensure a meaningful visit focused on your health, similiar to what we deliver in our office.

We believe that this is the safest option in view of the current state of emergency. Rest assured, you'll receive the same quality of compassionate care as if you were in our office.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these challenging times.
